RedLasso Ropes in 24 Mil Views in April

Although RedLasso is still in private testing and available to just 18,000 testers, it managed to rake in 24 million unique visitors in April, NewTeeVee says. That’s because the site’s business is to let users share broadcast TV clips via embeddable video on their blogs, using a RedLasso player. Testers include the Huffington Post and Perez Hilton.

WriterGuy:

One of the greatest things about Red Lasso is they've figured out how to capture the closed-caption content of TV programming, and made it an option on virtually all of their clips.

On behalf of the 30 million Americans with hearing loss, and the millions of other who prefer to watch video with captions (people watching in noisy environments, in situations where they can't turn up the volume, or anyone learning English), I salute RedLasso.

They deserve ALL their success!!
